This page is this size of our major discussion pages like WT:RFD and WT:RFV. How sad. --Mglovesfun (talk) 11:22, 28 March 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Is there a way to ignore language sections using {{only in}}
in like mactator? If not, second best way is to list them on here as part of an 'ignore list'. Mglovesfun (talk) 23:21, 10 September 2011 (UTC)
- Yeah, I can do that next time. The way I get the list of language sections is by scanning the dump looking for ==English== and so on; it shouldn't be too hard to change it to notice
{{only in}}
. That said, if we're putting{{only in}}
in a language section, then I kind of think we should have a language-specific category, like Category:English entries that don't exist or something. —RuakhTALK 23:47, 10 September 2011 (UTC)
- And I think the text that
{{only in}}
generates should also mention the language. —RuakhTALK 23:48, 10 September 2011 (UTC)
- And I think the text that
- If you could add
{{only-in}}
(note the hyphen) to the "ignore"/"is OK" list, that'd be great. It's good to see (from Mg's comment at the top of the page) that the lists have gotten smaller! - -sche (discuss) 08:42, 11 January 2013 (UTC)

A few pages incorrectly categorised - User:Yair rand/uncategorized language sections/English --Type56op9 (talk) 17:21, 22 June 2015 (UTC)
- It looks like there has been cleanup of many of the entries, correcting the underlying problems, which included
{{term}}
with no explicit lang= in Etymology and no definition or missing-definition template. It was based on a January XML dump. I don't know how the list-extraction script worked or what was intended, but the list doesn't seem to correspond well to the page title. DCDuring TALK 17:50, 22 June 2015 (UTC)- It's OK, I fixed them all. --Type56op9 (talk) 06:56, 23 June 2015 (UTC)
