It is too early to do this since we are still working out the basics of layout and style. Also, the English language has changed a great deal since 1913. --mav

Okay. I have stopped the bot that was posting the articles. However, you might want to see how you'd like to format something like abate, as a real-world example of word with a set of sub-definitions.

I can make both my code and the processed bot output available, if that helps.

Thanks for stopping the bot. You should keep the bot code to yourself and a few trusted other people. The last thing we need is for everybody to have a bot. But since the entries are here, this does give us something to play around with. --mav

Excellent. I'm off to bed. The Anome

Also, once we're set up for it, could you configure the bot to use a login? We can then hide the bot entries from Recentchanges. --Brion
Okay, I've done that, and the bot is now registered as "Websterbot". Four articles were posted as a side-effect of testing: I stopped the bot after that. -- The Anome 08:18 Dec 16, 2002 (UTC)
Okay, Websterbot is a registered bot. To show its edits, click the magic URL. But, don't add too much till the format is sufficiently hacked out. --Brion 08:27 Dec 16, 2002 (UTC)

Anyone has an idea of how many words there are in the 1913 Webster dictionary ? -- youssef 20:14 Feb 28, 2003 (UTC)
