Circumflex instead of macron to mark length

Standard on Wiktionary is to use macrons to mark vowel length, also in Old High German (see WT:AGOH). If you disagree with this, consider starting a discussion at WT:BP to gather support for changing it, but it's not a good idea to just start changing macrons to circumflexes piecemeal without seeking some kind of community support first, as it's a fairly significant deviation from current practice. — Mnemosientje (t · c) 14:33, 13 February 2025 (UTC)
