Price of tea in China

[edit]

Political examples are very bad because people will keep coming and changing it to Trump, Obama, etc. to match their favourite biases. Also some learners might get confused about China and America both being countries: the country of China isn't relevant to the meaning of the phrase. Equinox ◑ 22:15, 22 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

@Equinox Thank you! Now when I have an actual counter-argument rather than a system message, I can do it right. Because frankly, I believe the current example is just confusing. I'll change it again, but this time I'll heed your advice. Gaioa (talk) 22:18, 22 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
Both examples you gave don't make sense compared to the meaning of the article. They make the meaning confusing. The old example exhibits the meaning of the saying. Therefor I changed it back. Dave Dial (talk) 22:29, 4 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Isn't it some coincidence that you moved it to mainspace in the exact minute that I published -ussification? Ioaxxere (talk) 18:44, 5 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
