Hanunoo /o/

@Dentsinhere43 Final syllable /u/ becomes /o/ in Hanunoo (think of it like Tagalog) and double /u/ becomes "oo" or "uo" (but first one is prefered.)

Ending glottal stops

@Dentsinhere43 Why did you move it to the older orthography where ' is the ending glottal stop? It was fine before, modern Hanunoo people (you can look in Facebook groups don't even write the apostrophe at all for the word alaga and you can see it's Hanunoo language if you know basic words in the Swadesh list like "ti" (equivalent to Tagalog ang) or "sitay" (equivalent to Tagalog dito). Probably Tagalog influence in schools too and socmed in general that's why final glottal stops aren't written) Please make ' forms as alt forms instead. 𝄽 ysrael214 (talk) 11:15, 28 January 2025 (UTC)

@Dentsinhere43 Too bad Zorc's site is down for files but another later reference (I think the title was "Discourse analysis of Suyot: A Hanunuo-Mangyan folk narrative") there doesn't write the final glottal stop as '. The ' is also inconsistent before such as writing Hanuno'o in other sources but in Conklin's dictionary consecutive vowels don't get apostrophes. Best use the more latest one where final ' is not written.

By the way, if you're able to have hands on "Barbian, Karl-Josef. 1977. The Mangyan languages of Mindoro. Cebu City: University of San Carlos." and "English-Mangyan dictionary" of the same author from the libraries that would be nice to have as reference as well although I think ' is written there on consonants before vowel too. @Dentsinhere43 Glottal stop is not marked in the discourse analysis one. Given that Mangyan people in Facebook dont put glottal stops at the end like Tagalog, please revert your changes adding the apostrophe forms and make those forms alt forms only.
