Wikipedia templates and modules
[edit]Please stop copying these here. Some are partly broken, some are useless, and all are unwanted. This is a different kind of wiki, and we have different needs. —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 16:45, 9 September 2021 (UTC)
- @Metaknowledge: I originally wanted to use Template:Demo, and then created the rest of the templates in order to make Template:Demo and its documentation page function properly. I don't understand why these templates would be unwanted. Is there a policy indicating what kinds of templates are or are not acceptable here? Or what criteria you are using to make deletion decisions? Daask (talk) 17:20, 9 September 2021 (UTC)
- We already have
{{temp demo}}
. In general, if you're trying to do something, you can ask for help instead of importing a dozen templates and modules that aren't wanted here. —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 18:09, 9 September 2021 (UTC)- @Metaknowledge: I appreciate the reference to Template:temp demo, but I would still appreciate the answers to my previous questions. - As I already said, my criteria are that we don't have any demonstrated need for those templates. By the way, pings don't work unless you add them in the same edit as your signature. —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 20:38, 9 September 2021 (UTC)
