{{documentation subpage}} <!-- PLEASE ADD CATEGORIES AND INTERWIKIS AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE --> ==Usage== For possible use in the Etymology sections together with {{temp|derv}} and {{temp|morph}}. It is used for words consisting of three of more components, for a component that is not a morpheme, for which we desire to create a derived term category. It's not intended to indicate that the word directly derives, historically, from the component, for which situation {{temp|derv}} should be used. For example, in the case of {{term|referentiality|lang=en}}, {{term|refer|lang=en}} may not be considered a morpheme, being decomposable to {{term|re-|lang=en}} and "fer", which is not a meaningful unit in English. But it does have an entry for which we would like to show Related terms. :{{term|referentiality}} can be broken down thus: : {{derv|en|referential}} ( = ({{base|en|refer}} + {{morph|en|-ence}} or {{morph|en|-ent}}) + {{morph|en|-ial}} + {{suffix||ity}} by using this wikitext: : <tt><nowiki>{{derv|en|referential}} ( = ({{base|en|refer}} + {{morph|en|-ence}} or {{morph|en|-ent}}) + {{morph|en|-ial}} + {{suffix||ity}} == Categorization == This is intended to populate a set of categories with names of the form "Category:[languagename] words containing but not directly derived from: refer". == Parameters == Positional (unnamed) parameters: # language-code # morpheme to link to # optional: morpheme to display (if different from the morpheme to link to) # optional: gloss (brief English translation of the morpheme) Named parameters: * <tt>sc=</tt> (optional) — script template * <tt>tr=</tt> (optional) — transliteration ==See also== * {{temp|confix}} * {{temp|prefix}} * {{temp|suffix}} * {{temp|compound}} <includeonly> <!-- CATEGORIES AND INTERWIKIS HERE, THANKS --> [[Category:Etymology templates|{{PAGENAME}}]] [[Category:Morphology templates|{{PAGENAME}}]] </includeonly>
