This blocked user is asking that their block be reviewed:

Anohthterwikipedian (block logactive blockscontribsdeleted contribsabuse filter loguser creation logchange block settingsunblock)

Request reason:

What format did I break? I thought the format was first Template:character info, then Template:also if applicable.

@Anohthterwikipedian {{also}} should always be the first template on the page. I have lifted the block, however, as I only imposed it because you were systematically adding it. Theknightwho (talk) 00:21, 18 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for unblocking me but please check Template:character info#Template placement or Template:also#Template placement. You'll see they both outline the same thing: Template:character info above Template:also whenever applicable.

@Anohthterwikipedian Thanks - I hadn't realised that, and I've now changed it: the reason given doesn't seem to happen in practice, and it doesn't reflect how the two templates are actually used in reality. Theknightwho (talk) 19:32, 18 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
What do you mean the reason doesn't happen? If you look closely, reversing the order of first Template:character info then Template:also does indeed create an unnecessary spacing at the top of the page. At least that is how it is in both Vector layouts and both parsers.

@Anohthterwikipedian That isn't how it's displaying for me; it displays the same. However, if that's the case then this would need to be changed en masse by bot, rather than being done manually. Theknightwho (talk) 20:45, 18 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Language code changes

[edit]

Stop changing language codes if you have no clue what you're doing, which is apparent from your changes here. — SURJECTION / T / C / L / 06:13, 29 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
