[edit]Note that if you want to use the bot fully, you need to pass it through a vote; see WT:BOT. I have spotted the bot already making a few test edits, which is fine; however the amount of test edits should be kept at 30-50 or so at maximum (right now it is only about 15-20 or so). - Please see my comments at Wiktionary:Votes/bt-2018-11/User:Shahab.bot for bot status. There is no guarantee that your bot will be approved, so I recommend that you try to address any opposers' concerns. —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 06:52, 2 December 2018 (UTC)
- @Metaknowledge: Thanks for your kind advice. I will try my best. Actually Arabic and Persian languages are national languages, they were using it at government level, whereas Urdu, though spoken by such a large number of people, has no governmental support. Arabic and Persian type-writers were available about half a century ago, while Urdu key-boards were hardly available just 10 years back. Official language of Government of Pakistan is not Urdu but English. That is why you see so few people in this region are interested in dictionaries, and therefore can not cast vote. Let me hope for the best. شہاب (talk) 22:51, 3 December 2018 (UTC)
- Well, I would like to see better Urdu coverage here, but I still have some concerns, which I placed on the vote page. I will switch my vote to support if all my concerns are addressed. —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 22:59, 3 December 2018 (UTC)
