These descendants should not be added here; they should be included on exsequor and persequor respectively. Please see the paragraph on WT:ALA#Descendants starting "Note that the list includes only links to entries whose etymology section would identify gallus as the direct etymological progentior of the term. Words descending from Latin derivatives of gallus should be listed on that entry and not at gallus." Also the template you added to execute classed the English word as a Latin word prefixed with ex, and so this template cannot be used in this way.

The changes have been made – thanks for the explanations. I've added persecute to persécuter as a descendant as per its etymology.
