This template is modelled on Template:zh-hanzi. The purpose is to provide a magnification of a Runic letter so that it is large enough to be clearly seen. The template is for use on pages (eg ᚠ) defining Runic letters. It is used by inserting the text {{runic-letter|x}} into the page, where x is the input field, into which the Runic letter is placed.

Please use {{Runic character info}} instead of this temp for several reason.

1. The display of {{Runic character info}} is consistent with the {{character info}} family of templates used on most other symbol pages (we are attempting to put them on all of the character pages) as a way of showing a reference image and encoding details (e.g. Unicode codepoint).
2. As there are images for all the Runic characters, an image is preferred to just a larger font sized version of the textual character (many people don't have the necessary fonts).
