It takes different parameters. In particular it takes the same parameters as {{ru-noun-table}}, i.e. it automatically infers the genitive singular and nominative plural (and gender in most cases) instead of requiring you to specify all of them manually. Benwing2 (talk) 09:28, 14 October 2015 (UTC)

Indeclinable nouns

Well, you ought to do this by specifying $ in the declension-spec field (the one that follows the lemma); this is the supported way to get an indeclinable noun in a declension. But Module:ru-headword doesn't recognize this yet, so it instead lists the noun as declinable with all its forms the same. I'll fix this tonight. As of yet I've been using {{ru-noun}} for indeclinable nouns (just put - as the third parameter). Benwing2 (talk) 00:38, 2 December 2015 (UTC)

I tried to add the Russian definition of огнь (a poetic word for fire in Russian) and I found out that there's an error if I put {{ru-noun-table|b||m*}}. --KoreanQuoter (talk) 05:15, 20 December 2015 (UTC)

You probably get an error because it's not a reducible word and you've specified * for a reducible term; you should leave out the star. Benwing2 (talk) 05:28, 20 December 2015 (UTC)
