Need help!

[edit]

This is my first attempt at setting up a Wiki template. I copied the Template:Notice code from Wikipedia (en), but it doesn't look the same here (yet). This thing needs class="messagebox standard-talk" in order to add the nice brass-colored background box. How does one define this class in Wiktionary? If I knew how it was defined in Wikipedia (en), and where to put it, I'd copy that to Wiktionary, too. After rooting around in the help pages and using the search tool for a couple of hours, I still haven't been able to find the answers. --Quicksilver@ 22:14, 17 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

I lifted this from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MediaWiki:Common.css:

.messagebox.standard-talk {
   border: 1px solid #c0c090;
   background-color: #f8eaba;
}

I think think it's the missing piece that defines the box border width, border color and background color. A Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) definition? --Quicksilver@ 23:50, 17 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

This change has lead to a very nice revision as compared to the previous one; thanks. --Dan Polansky 10:59, 12 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
