@Aryamanarora Since the presence of ċ, j̈, j̈h in a word is currently indicated through manual transliteration using a |tr= parameter, is there a way to add such a parameter to this and future customised mr templates? Kutchkutch (talk) 23:05, 9 October 2017 (UTC)

- @Aryamanarora: I'm still unfamiliar with Template syntax, and I thought it wasn't too difficult so I thought asking wouldn't bother you too much.
- I noticed that entries for Hindi verbs with causative forms use Template:hi-verb set and it looks nice so I thought such a template for Marathi would also look nice.
- The usual way to form causative verbs in Marathi is to add व between the verb stem and णे, but there could be exceptions (वि is the older form). I have yet to find a Marathi example of a double causative form such as दिखवाना for दिखना (dikhnā). Kutchkutch (talk) 00:50, 10 October 2017 (UTC)
- @Kutchkutch: It seems all Indo-Aryan languages have causative verbs, but so far I too have not seen double causative verbs outside of Hindi-Urdu. —Aryaman (मुझसे बात करो) 01:00, 10 October 2017 (UTC)
