@Thadh I propose to change this template as follows:
first | second | third | ||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
anaphoric | logophoric | |||||
m | f | m | f | |||
singular | es | tu | jis | jei | šys | šei |
plural | mes | jius | jī | juos | šī | šuos |
There is enough space to write out the terms "anaphoric" and "logophoric" in full, plus, this allows us to link to the glossary. Thanks, This, that and the other (talk) 01:26, 17 January 2025 (UTC)
- @This, that and the other: I would then propose moving the qualifiers to a second line, so the word "third" is more prominent. Alternatively, merge the two and put the anaphoric/logophoric as secondary qualifiers. Thadh (talk) 09:38, 17 January 2025 (UTC)

- @Thadh thanks, I converted the template.
- I just noticed that "anaphoric" isn't in the glossary, and the entry isn't especially helpful either. Should it be added there? (Interestingly, the relevant sense at anaphora was tagged for RFV by Caoimhin ceallach, although not listed at WT:RFVE.) This, that and the other (talk) 12:10, 17 January 2025 (UTC)
- I'll see if I can write something in the glossary. Thadh (talk) 12:30, 17 January 2025 (UTC)
- It is listed, here: Wiktionary:Requests_for_verification/English#anaphora. I actually intended to write a glossary entry, but I wasn't sure if my concept of anaphora coincided with that of all linguists. Specifically, does an anaphora refer back in the discourse or could its referent be anything? —Caoimhin ceallach (talk) 13:31, 17 January 2025 (UTC)
- @Caoimhin ceallach thanks for the link, I think RFVE is just not loading properly for me because it is so long. This, that and the other (talk) 14:42, 17 January 2025 (UTC)
