Is there a problem with this? DTLHS (talk) 22:44, 17 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

I would like to have this on the documentation page. What do you think? Jawitkien (talk) 22:44, 17 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

The HTML expansion isn't necessary. Just describe what the template does. DTLHS (talk) 22:45, 17 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
So drop the HTML, and it looks like a good documentation page? or is there a prescribed way to define the arguments and their meanings with particular subsections like "Examples" etc ? Jawitkien (talk) 22:50, 17 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
Not really. You can look at examples in Category:Documentation subpages. DTLHS (talk) 22:54, 17 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
I'll look at them. this is my current draft. Jawitkien (talk) 23:02, 17 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

General Usage form

[edit]

This template is used on the page of the gismu word such as fukpi. It first generates the gismu word in strong tag (i.e. bolded) then generates an open parenthesis then the word "rafsi" then the up to three rafsi with links to the Lojban section of the page and finally a close parenthesis.

{{jbo-gismu|<optional-rafsi1>|<optional-rafsi2>|<optional-rafsi3>}}

If you give more than two parameters, the [[Category:Lojban gismu with three rafsi]] is generated.

there are no named parameters

Examples

[edit]

assume each of these are on the page for fukpi.

{{jbo-gismu}} === fukpi

{{jbo-gismu|fu'i}} === fukpi (rafsi fu'i )

{{jbo-gismu|fu'i|fuk}} === fukpi (rafsi fu'i or fuk )

{{jbo-gismu|fu'i|fuk|ukp}} === fukpi (rafsi fu'i or fuk or ukp )

Note

[edit]

ie: there is no difference from {{jbo-gismu|fu'i|fuk}}

and

{{jbo-gismu|{{l|jbo|fu'i}}|{{l|jbo|fuk}}}}

as both generate: almost exactly the same HTML (only a span tag different )
