Usage notes

[edit]

I (Arne List) am pretty sure, that this paradigm only matches to the Faroese word dagur and compositions with it at the end, but however, the variables are:

  1. d (first part of the stem)
  2. a (stem vowel)
  3. g (last part of the stem)
  4. e (umlaut dative sg)
  5. ø (umlaut dative pl)

{{fo-decl-noun-m42|d|a|g|e|ø}}

gives:

m42 singular plural
indefinite definite indefinite definite
nominative dagur dagurin dagar dagarnir
accusative dag dagin dagar dagarnar
dative degi degnum døgum døgunum
genitive dags dagsins daga daganna
