Since the "Aramaic" (arc) entries created by 334a were moved to "Classical Syriac" (syc), apparently splitting Aramaic into being considered multiple languages, should this be restored? --Yair rand 20:18, 14 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

And the rest are still listed as Aramaic? Heh.
Truth is, I don't know. I don't know enough about Aramaic to know whether to count it as one language or many, and, if the latter, how finely. I was calling everything "Aramaic" because that's what 334a did; if he's switched, then he'd be the one to ask why and what he thinks the new rule should be. (That is, he might not be the one to ask; but I'm certainly not, as I was just following his lead.)​—msh210 21:05, 14 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
