No longer necessary. (Yay! :) ) --Yair rand 06:11, 15 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Really? Then orphan, delete and cheer. --Daniel. 06:51, 15 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Actually, I think this was a mistake. The MW1.19 release notes were modified to say that this is a new fix for 1.19, so this probably isn't going to be fixed until 1.19... --Yair rand 11:38, 15 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Do you know when it will be out? —CodeCat 11:51, 15 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
The mw:MediaWiki roadmap says that they're targeting October for 1.19. --Yair rand 12:14, 15 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
Delete when it is no longer necessary. --Mglovesfun (talk) 10:47, 23 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Just kept to be used until it becomes obsolete, like many templates. --Daniel 05:18, 26 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Still needed?

[edit]

Is this now still needed? Mglovesfun (talk) 11:03, 7 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

I think the wiki software has been upgraded now, so this can be deleted? —CodeCat 11:16, 7 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hmm, it still seems to reduce the article count for me when I remove the template. Maybe ask a developer? -- Liliana 22:32, 7 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
Right, Yair rand said here the upgrade was still months away from actually taking effect. - -sche (discuss) 22:44, 7 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
But some things, like the categories at the bottom and the missing minor edit when creating pages, have changed. So I thought it was because of the upgrade. —CodeCat 00:14, 8 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
I dunno, which update has been installed? I understood this one was due for 1.19, was this 1.19 or one previous to that? Mglovesfun (talk) 10:00, 8 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
[[Special:version]] IINM says we have 1.18.—msh210 (talk) 07:18, 9 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
Yeah, we just upgraded from 1.17 to 1.18. Comes with a bunch of new stuff, but no count page fix. --Yair rand 15:47, 9 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
(mw:Roadmap says 1.19 is being deployed in November, btw.) --Yair rand 15:35, 25 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Striking as deleted. Was deleted when it became obsolete, to be honest, there was no need to nominate it here. We'd already agreed to delete it when it was obsolete, this debate just showed that nobody had changed their mind. Mglovesfun (talk) 22:18, 26 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
