I have found the following online searchable sites hosting Moby Thesaurus II:

• No longer there: Public Domain Db's Free Online Thesaurus and Dictionary - searchable copy
• Dictionary at datasegment.com - includes Moby thesaurus in its search results. No obvious way to restrict the dictionary database to Moby II.
• No longer there: Aggregator at mydictionary.co.za - includes Moby thesaurus in its search results
• No longer there: At services.aonaware.com - searching for the term "backbone"
• Dictionary at dict.org - got it working using a get-like URL despite the page apparently using post method
• moby-thesaurus.org - appears dedicated to Moby II but mixes in some other thesaurus content. For instance, datasegment Moby II "blue"[1] ends with "zaffer" while moby-thesaurus.org Moby II "blue"[2] adds "blueish", "blue-black" etc. behind "zaffer" without clearly marking these as not part of Moby II
