Apparently
[edit]Apparently, I'm not the only one who thinks this is an abomination. AP Stylebook / http://www.apstylebook.com/. --Connel MacKenzie T C 06:56, 3 May 2006 (UTC)
- A more complete view of the issue may be found at Serial comma. There are authorities on both sides of the debate. --Bequw → ¢ • τ 14:22, 2 October 2009 (UTC)
- No, I'm with you. This template is an abomination and we should just have a house style to use serial commas for consistency and clarity. At minimum, the template should be defaulting to display of the serial comma. — LlywelynII 18:30, 10 April 2022 (UTC)
Thorough info
[edit]Is it possible to explain what this does in a more thorough statement in the documentation? Cheers :) CokeHanx (talk) 21:28, 27 November 2013 (UTC)
- I think the existing documentation ("Produces a comma within CSS class serial-comma that can be customized by user preferences") actually perfectly explains what this does. What it doesn't explain is, when/whether to use it (and why). —RuakhTALK 21:48, 27 November 2013 (UTC)
