Conjugation template for consonant-ending Tatar verbs.

Parameters

  • |1= Verb stem, by leaving verbal noun suffix -у/ү (-u/ü).
  • |2= Last vowel of the stem.
If the last vowel contains я, ё, ю, use а, о, у instead.
  • |3= The consonant of indefinite past tense.
Forms in -к- are used with stems ending in unvoiced consonants, and -г- used elsewhere).
  • |4= The consonant of definite past tense.
Forms in -т- are used with stems ending in unvoiced consonants, and -д- used elsewhere).
  • |5= The vowel of indefinite future tense.
The choice between -ар/әр (-ar/är) and -ыр/ер (-ır/yer) are unpredictable, so it must included (the rules are likely similar to the Turkish suffix -er).
