Usage

This template may be used within citations or quotes of works translated from another language to illustrate how a specific term is translated. As such, it should be used within the body of citations, following the appropriate word. It uses {{l}} as a basis. To request addition of this template, use {{rftransterm}}.

Parameters

The template takes the following parameters:

  • |1= – The language code of the original language; equivalent to parameter |1= of {{l}}.
  • |2= – The headword form of the term in the original language; equivalent to parameter |2= of {{l}}.
  • |3= – The display form of the term in the original language; equivalent to parameter |3= of {{l}}.
  • |tr= – A transliteration of the original language term into the Latin alphabet; equivalent to parameter |tr= of {{l}}.
  • |sc= – The appropriate script code the term in the original language; equivalent to parameter |sc= of {{l}}.
