Uses Lua:
This template is used to direct users to translations at another entry.
Parameters
1=
- The gloss to show in the translation table; this is the same as the gloss of
{{trans-top}}
. 2=
,3=
,4=
etc.- One or more entries to link to. If these are not given, the gloss is used as an entry name.
id=
- The sense id of the sense that this translation belongs to (which should be tagged with
{{senseid}}
). The translation table in the entry that is being linked to should have the same id. id1=
,id2=
,id3=
etc.- Specifies the ID of one of the linked translations, if different from
id=
; this should only be necessary in rare instances.
Examples
Where the translation gloss is the same as the target entry, only one parameter is required, e.g.
{{trans-see|that}}
that — see that
Where the gloss is different to the target entry, two parameters are needed. The first is the gloss, and the second is the target entry, e.g.
{{trans-see|Nahuatl language|Nahuatl}}
