This template looks up synonyms on a thesaurus page and displays them.
Parameters
|1=(required)- Language code of synonyms to fetch.
|2=- Thesaurus page to fetch synonyms of, minus the
Thesaurus:prefix. Defaults to the current page name. |header=- Header to look for synonyms under. Defaults to
Synonyms. |templates=- Comma-separated list of Lua patterns matching template names to look for, which contain the synonyms. Default is
col[0-9]*, i.e.{{col}}and any numbered variants such as{{col3}}. The first parameter of the template must match the language code in|1=. Note that, since these are Lua patterns, hyphens in template names must be escaped using%-. |nolang_templates=- Comma-separated list of Lua patterns matching template names to look for, which contain the synonyms. Unlike the templates listed in
|templates=, these templates do not need to match the language code; they are assumed to be language-specific.
Example
To look up the synonyms of Chinese 車輛／车辆 (chēliàng, “vehicle, car”), use:
