This template creates the pronunciation of a Swahili word or phrase using Module:sw-IPA. Use it directly under the “Pronunciation” header:

[edit]The template can make an educated guess of the pronunciation without help:
Certain words need respelling. For words that do not have their stress on the penultimate syllable, give an unnamed parameter equal to the pagename but with an apostrophe inserted before the stress syllable:
It may be necessary to explicitly indicate syllable breaks, such as after (and before) a syllabic ⟨m⟩ followed a labial. Do this by adding periods in the respelling:
