This template creates a declension table for Old Irish io/iā-stem adjectives. It takes one obligatory and one optional positional parameter.

The obligatory first parameter is the stem of the adjective; the optional second parameter is |a, to be used when the final consonant of the adjective stem is broad. For example, at buide:

{{sga-decl-adj-io-ia|buid}}

and at dorchae:

{{sga-decl-adj-io-ia|dorch|a}}

If necessary, named parameters can be used to override the automatically generated forms:

  • |nsm= for the forms ending in -(a)e
  • |gsm= for the singular forms ending in -(a)i
  • |np= for the plural forms ending in -(a)i (unless these are the same as the singular form, in which case |gsm= will cover both)
  • |dsm= for the forms ending in -(i)u
  • |dp= for the forms inding in -(a)ib
  • |av2= for the substantivized accusative/vocative forms.
  • |nsn= for the nominative/accusative nominative singular
