From Wiktionary, the free dictionary

sc-adj (feminine singular sc-ada, masculine plural sc-ados, feminine plural sc-adas)

A template for the headword lines of Sardinian adjectives.

Examples

[edit]

The following syntax covers most of the adjectival endings:

{{sc-adj}}
  • With Logudorese dulche (sweet):
dulche (plural dulches)
  • With Campidanese abbundanti (abundant, plentiful):
abbundanti (plural abbundantis)

Adjectives ending in -u

[edit]
  • For Logudorese-only adjectives, you can use the following syntax (e.g. biaittu (blue)):
{{sc-adj|var=L}}
which generates:
biaittu (feminine singular biaitta, masculine plural biaittos, feminine plural biaittas)
(if the var parameter is not used, Logudorese endings will be displayed by default).
  • For Campidanese-only adjectives, use the following syntax (e.g. allenu (foreign, stranger):
{{sc-adj|var=C}}
which generates:
allenu (feminine singular allena, masculine plural allenus, feminine plural allenas)
  • For adjectives whose lemma form is the same in Logudorese and Campidanese, use the following syntax (e.g. benignu (benign; kindly)):
{{sc-adj|var=LC}}
which generates:
benignu (feminine singular benigna, masculine plural benignos (Logudorese) or benignus (Campidanese), feminine plural benignas)
  • For invariable adjectives, use the following syntax (e.g. a boxi (oral, spoken)):
{{sc-adj|inv=1}}
which generates:
a boxi (invariable)
