{{request for verification of pronunciation}} (alias {{rfv-pron}}) is used to request verification of a pronunciation transcription already present on an entry page.

Usage

This template should be used in the Pronunciation section of an entry.

To use this template:

1. Add {{rfv-pron|xx}} to an entry. The language code is required to ensure that it goes to the correct subpage of Wiktionary:Tea room.
2. Start a new discussion on Wiktionary:Tea room, using the (+).

Parameters

|1= (required)

The language code of the term whose pronunciation needs verification. See Wiktionary:List of languages.

|sort=

The sort key for the page; rarely needs to be specified.

|nocat=1

Disable categorization of this page.

This template adds the page to the subcategory of Category:Requests for references for pronunciations by language designated by the language code specified using |1=.
