Usage

This is used to attempt to ease finding dates and other missing information for quotes. It is related to {{rfquotek}}, used to ease finding citations and references for definitions copied from Webster 1913. It displays a maintenance line and adds the page to relevant categories as outlined below.

Parameters

|1= (required): The language code of the term in question. See Wiktionary:List of languages.
|2= (required): The name of the author or work or both.
|sort=: The sort key for the page; rarely needs to be specified.
|nocat=1: Disable categorization of this page.

This template adds the page to the following categories:

Category:Requests for date/AUTHOR (where AUTHOR is the value passed in as |2=). This is a subcategory of Category:Requests for date by source.
Category:Requests for date in LANG entries, one of the subcategories of Category:Requests for date by language.
