* The final vowel is canonically deleted when the next word starts with a vowel. This happens in the nominative case as well. * The final ν is deleted when the next word starts with λ, μ or ρ, or when the next word is μου, σου. * Τhe inital τ becomes σ when preceded by the preposition ας.
