Each parameter specifies the declension of one element of the phrase. Parameters to each element are separated by exclamation marks.
Due to a Lua limitation, to specify empty parameters, you must put spaces between consecutive delimiters. These spaces will be trimmed.
Specifying noun elements
The first parameter is the name of the declension pattern in Module:pl-noun. This is usually the same as the name of the inflection-table template found on this page, except without the pl-decl-noun-
part, and all pattern names are prefixed by the gender specifier. There are also some aliases - see the module code for details. The remaining parameters (separated by exclamation marks) are exactly the same as for the relevant declension template.
Specyfing adjective elements
To specify an adjective, use the special pattern adj. The gender of the adjective will be automatically matched to the first pattern with a specified gender encountered in the phrase.
If the phrase does not contain nouns, use one of these:
- adj-m-pr: masculine personal adjective
- adj-m-an: masculine animate adjective
- adj-m-in: masculine inanimate adjective
- adj-f: feminine adjective
- adj-n: neuter adjective
Note that adj-f is not the same as f-adj (feminine noun with adjectival declension), since they give different vocative singular forms.
