Examples
[edit]( 1 ) The word brynja (“a coat of plate (or mail)”) has the stem bryn (1=bryn
).
Declension of brynja (weak jōn-stem)
( 2 ) For rekkja (“a bed”) the stem is rekk (1=rekk
). The stem ends in a velar k, therefore the genitive plural is rekkna (2=
or gp=rekkna
).
Declension of rekkja (weak jōn-stem)
