{{citation needed}} (aka {{fact}}) is not used on Wiktionary. It exists here only to catch erroneous usages (most likely made by Wikipedia editors who are not familiar with Wiktionary templates).

Please instead use one of the following options. Note that "rfv" is a initialism for "request for verification."

• {{rfv-sense}} to dispute the existence of a definition. See WT:CFI#Attestation.
• {{rfd-sense}} to dispute the validity of a definition with regards to our criteria for inclusion.
• {{rfc-sense}} to propose the clean up of a definition that doesn't require deletion.
• {{tea room sense}} to discuss a sense that may not require any modification at all.

Used less often are the following:

• {{rfv-etym}} to dispute specifically the etymology.
• {{rfv-pron}} to dispute specifically the pronunciation.
