lg-noun (needs a Luganda class)


This template creates headword lines for Luganda nouns; it should be functional for most types of nouns in Luganda.

This template contains the necessary meta-data to allow users who are using accelerated editing to create any grammatical forms semi-automatically.

Parameters

|1= (required)
The noun class, indicated either via the 10-class system using lowercase Roman numerals (e.g. iv), two Arabic numerals with a slash between them (e.g. 7/8) or noun prefixes hyphenated together (e.g. ki-bi) or via the 17-class system using Arabic numerals (e.g. 7) or a noun prefix (e.g. bi).
|2= (optional)
This serves a few purposes. It can be fed with plural or pl if the noun is only plural, like amazzi. It can be fed with - if there is no plural, like caayi. Finally, the plural can be given if it is not correctly predicted by the template.
|3= (optional)
This serves two purposes. It can be fed with - if there is only a base state, like kasooli, or the base state can be given if it is not correctly predicted by the template.
|4= (optional)
In this parameter, the plural base state can be given if it is not correctly predicted by the template. This can only be used for countable nouns.
|head= (optional)
This overrides the headword that is displayed.
