duo (feminine duae, neuter duo); numeral, plural only

Usage

[edit]

Use this template on the headword line of Latin adjectival numerals. The format is identical to {{la-adj}}. The only differences are that this template categorizes into Category:Latin numerals instead of Category:Latin adjectives, and that it takes an optional |type= parameter for additional categorization by type of numeral.

E.g., on duo:

{{la-num-adj|duo<irreg+>|type=card}}

The above code displays as follows:

duo (feminine duae, neuter duo); numeral, plural only

This also categorizes into Category:Latin cardinal numbers.

E.g., on trēs:

{{la-num-adj|trēs<+.pl>|type=card}}

The above code displays as follows:

trēs (neuter tria); third-declension two-termination numeral, plural only

This also categorizes into Category:Latin cardinal numbers.

E.g., on octāvus:

{{la-num-adj|octāvus|type=ord}}

The above code displays as follows:

octāvus (feminine octāva, neuter octāvum); first/second-declension numeral

This also categorizes into Category:Latin ordinal numbers.

E.g., on dēnī:

{{la-num-adj|dēnī|type=dist}}

The above code displays as follows:

dēnī (feminine dēnae, neuter dēna); first/second-declension numeral, plural only

This also categorizes into Category:la:Distributive numbers.

E.g., on triplus:

{{la-num-adj|triplus|type=mul}}

The above code displays as follows:

triplus (feminine tripla, neuter triplum); first/second-declension numeral

This also categorizes into Category:la:Multiplicative numbers.
