Usage
Use this template to display the inflection line of all Latin gerunds. Use this template only on the lemma form of the gerund (accusative singular). For all other forms use {{la-gerund-form}}
The template adds the entry to Category:Latin gerunds. As with other Wiktionary part of speech templates, please do not use subst:
.
Parameters
The template requires one or two parameters.
|1=
the lemma with macrons (if any), including the -um inflectional ending.|2=
the gerundive form with macrons (if any), if it differs from the automatically generated gerundive form.|2=-
if there is no gerundive forms.
Examples
- First conjugation gerund with no macrons - amandum (“loving”)

- Third conjugation gerund with macrons - invādendum (“assaulting, invading”)

- invādendum (accusative, gerundive invādendus)
- Irregular gerundive - eundum (“going, proceeding”)

- eundum (accusative, gerundive eundum)
- Because the gerundive does not have the expected form, the second parameter is included.
- No gerundive - edendum (“eating, consuming”)

- edendum (accusative, no gerundive)
- The value of the second parameter as "-" indicates that there is no gerundive.
