Example with 먹이다 (meogida, to feed):

  1. Stem of the etymon verb, e.g. for 먹이다 (meogida).
  2. Gloss of the etymon verb, e.g. "to eat" for 먹이다 (meogida).
  3. Stem-attaching suffix, e.g. for 먹이다 (meogida). Do not use hyphens; they are added automatically.
  4. Purpose of the suffix, e.g. "causative" for 먹이다 (meogida).
