{{ko-etym-verbal-suffix|먹|to eat|이|causative}}
- Stem of the etymon verb, e.g. 먹 for 먹이다 (meogida).
- Gloss of the etymon verb, e.g. "to eat" for 먹이다 (meogida).
- Stem-attaching suffix, e.g. 이 for 먹이다 (meogida). Do not use hyphens; they are added automatically.
- Purpose of the suffix, e.g. "causative" for 먹이다 (meogida).
