Template:ja-spellings/documentation
Template for listing the spellings of a Japanese word, using Module:ja-spellings to do its job.
A Japanese word always has a kana spelling and usually has one or more kanji spellings. For each word, one spelling is chosen by the editors as the main entry on Wiktionary to hold all information of the word. {{ja-spellings}}
is used on the main entry to list and link to the other spellings, and {{ja-see}}
is used on the pages of the other spellings to link to the main entry.
If there are multiple etymologies (homographs), the template should be placed immediately below the ===Etymology n===
header of the word it describes. Otherwise, it should be placed immediately below the ==Japanese==
header, or the whole ===Kanji===
section in the case of kanji entries, above any other header (including ===Etymology===
)

{{ja-see}}
or{{ja-see-kango}}
.
