This template is for Japanese terms that have shifted from kun'yomi to on'yomi, used in the etymology section.

Parameters

• |1= (required) the kanji form of the native Japanese term before the shift.
• |2= the kana form of the native Japanese term before the shift.
• |3= the gloss of the native Japanese term before the shift.
• |alt= use this parameter if the on'yomi term after the shift used an alternative kanji rendering.
• |altq= qualifiers for the kanji rendering in |alt=.
• |nocap= whether to uncapitalise the first letter of the displayed text.
• |sort= sort key.
