Wikipedia

This template is placed at the tops of pages containing humorous content to prevent confusion. It is implemented using {{ombox}}.

As of 2023, it is only used on one page outside userspace.

Parameters

[edit]
|text= (optional)
The explanatory text to display. Defaults to the following, assuming |section= is not given (see below):
This page contains material that is kept because it is considered humorous.
Such material is not meant to be taken seriously.
The Wikipedia link is present because this template is a modified copy of Wikipedia's humor template.
|section= (optional)
If given the exact value "yes", the default text is changed to apply to a "section" of a page, rather than the entire page. Ignored if |text= is given.
|1=, |2=, ... |5= (optional)
Specify shortcuts for the page the template is used on. If given, these shortcuts appear to the right of the humor text. This parameter is present because Wikipedia's humor template is often used at the top of projectspace pages, which often have shortcuts.
