Usage

This template was designed for the following special cases of front-vowel Hungarian nouns ending in a vowel and using -höz for the allative case:

• the final vowel is y and it is pronounced as /i/
• the final vowel is a short vowel that will lengthen in the essive-formal case
• it has variant plural forms: érthető →‎ érthetők, érthetőek.
• it has variant terminative forms: idő →‎ időig, ideig.

For any other case, use {{hu-infl-nom}}.

The template is added under the ====Declension==== header.

Named parameters

esf_sg=

the root of the essive-formal case (-ként) if it is different than the page name

pl2=

the linking vowel in the variant plural forms; the variant forms will be placed below the regular forms separated by a new line

ter_sg2=

the full form of the variant terminative case; the variant form will be placed below the regular form separated by a new line
