Usage

[edit]

This template was designed for the following special cases of front-vowel Hungarian nouns ending in a vowel and using -hez for the allative case:

  • the final vowel is -y, pronounced /i/ (e.g. Demszky, whisky)
  • the final two vowels are -ee (e.g. Lee)
  • the final vowel is a short vowel that will lengthen in the essive-formal case
  • it has variant plural forms (DemszkyDemszkyk, Demszkyek)

For any other case, use {{hu-infl-nom}}.

The template is added under the ====Declension==== header.
