Usage

Hebrew frequently uses prepositional phrases where English uses adjectives. While it's useful to include these here, even when they might be considered sum of parts, it's important to make clear that these phrases are not really adjectives, and don't inflect in the way that real adjectives do. This can be done with a usage note, like so:

  • While used much as an adjective, he-usage-PP-adj/documentation is grammatically a prepositional phrase, and therefore does not inflect for gender, number, or definiteness.
