Notes: | The irregular accentuation of this paradigm is explained by the fact that it is the contracted version of the above paradigm. The alpha in the dative singular is properly short, but is sometimes written with ᾳ (with iota subscript), possibly by analogy to the form in first declension alpha inflection. |

This template takes three parameters:
- {{{1}}}: The nominative singular stem. This will be a recessed stem, i.e. an acute on the stem's penultimate syllable if it exists or circumflex on the ultimate if long and if the penult does not exist.
- {{{2}}}: The stem with acute on the ultimate syllable.
- {{{3}}}: The stem with no accent.
This template automatically produces two inflection templates: the uncontracted and contracted forms. Note that to manipulate the bottom template (the contracted forms) a 2 must be appended to the parameter name. For example, to change the dative singular of the contracted form, use DS2=.
