This template is to be used for the inflection of masculine nouns that form their plural by means of slenderisation. The following parameters are present:
|1=
The unmutated initial part of the noun, consisting of the first one or two letters|2=
The nominative singular ending of the noun|3=
The genitive singular ending of the noun|4=
(optional) The (broad) plural ending of the noun|b=
(optional) Should be given the value|b=1
if the plural ending is added to the broad stem
For example, the entry balach should be given the following code:

On the other hand, bacadh should be given the following code:

Finally, the entry càr should be given the following code:
