This page contains usage information, categories, interwiki links and other content describing the template.

This template creates a headword line for Irish pronouns. All parameters are optional.

The first (and only) positional parameter specifies the emphatic form of the pronoun, if there is one and if the pronoun isn't already emphatic. For example, at you could type:

{{ga-pron|mise}}

The parameter |type= specifies the type of pronoun. Your choices are demonstrative, indefinite, interrogative, negative, personal, reflexive or relative. Please use these words exactly, as they categorize the entry into one of CAT:Irish demonstrative pronouns, CAT:Irish indefinite pronouns, CAT:Irish interrogative pronouns, CAT:Irish negative pronouns, CAT:Irish personal pronouns, CAT:Irish reflexive pronouns or CAT:Irish relative pronouns. For example, at siúd you could type:

{{ga-pron|type=demonstrative}}

The parameter |desc= adds a description of the pronoun. This can in principle be anything relevant; in practice conjunctive and disjunctive are the most common terms; information about mutations that the pronoun triggers can also be given here. For example, at seisean you could type:

{{ga-pron|type=personal|desc=conjunctive}}

An example using all three parameters is siad:

{{ga-pron|siadsan|type=personal|desc=conjunctive}}
