This is the conjugation template for mettre and all verbs that have the same conjugation pattern. Its sources are Dictionnaire du moyen français (1330-1500), mettre, subsection formes and the former {{fr-conj-mettre}} template (modern French). It has two optional parmeters:

|1= (optional) the prefix for verbs ending in mettre with the same conjugation pattern. For example {{frm-conj-mettre|re}} for remettre.
|ct= (optional) use ct=1 for mectre and verbs ending in mectre with the same conjugation pattern. For example {{frm-conj-mettre|sou|ct=1}} on soumectre.
