Usage notes

[edit]

This paradigm matches Faroese feminine nouns such as mørk (2), søgn. It has not only an umlaut a, but also two alternative dative plural forms.

  1. s (first part of the stem)
  2. ø (stem vowel)
  3. gn (last part of the stem)
  4. a (umlaut in plural and genitive)
