Template:fi-adv-poss/documentation

This template is used to make a table showing the forms of adverbials (adverbs, postpositions etc.) with possessive suffixes. It uses Module:fi-adv-poss as a backend.

Parameters

|1=

Required. The vowel harmony for the adverbial (either a or ä).

|stem=

The stem for possessive forms.

|title=

The term to inflect; uses the page title by default.

|poss=1

Use this, if the adverbial requires a possessive suffix, as opposed to only allowing it. If given, the title of the page is expected to have the third-person possessive (either the short or long form).

For example, kotona allows a possessive suffix, but does not require it; huolissaan (being a predicative adverbial) however does require a possessive.

|n=sg, |n=pl

For singular-only and plural-only cases (where the other is not used or extremely rare).

|an=

Whether to allow the short form of the third-person possessive (-An, -en in addition to -nsA). Use 1 to allow and 0 to disallow. If not given, the template tries to automatically detect whether it would be allowed.

|suffix=

A suffix added to the end of every form. To add a space before the suffix, add a leading _.

|header=

Optional; an alternative table header to be displayed instead of "possessor".

Optional; supplies translation/glosses for the linked forms.
